I've recently wrote an article on the functions of some of the common vitamins and minerals, and getting the adequate amount of those nutrients.

Indeed, after going through each of the vitamins and nutrients (and writing about them), I've come to realize how important it is for us to be getting enough of those nutrients. For example, the eight types of vitamin Bs, in which at least five of them helps to convert food to energy for cells (including brain cells) to develop and function properly; and vitamin D, which mainly helps to prevent the softening of bones.

However, I've never thought that vitamin D contributes to increasing energy levels as well. It's interesting to know that it functions to support mitochondrial functions too.

Thanks Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, for sharing your perspective! :^D
