What's more important is that it's an option for those whose preferences or circumstances allow it. For instance, not everyone enjoys or has the privilege of hiking, so they might consider resistance training instead.

Plus, physical activity is beneficial when practiced consistently, and enjoying the process helps maintain that consistency. So, knowing how resistance training can positively affect the brain makes it even more motivating to incorporate into the routine.
